I've heard you tell some of these vignettes previously and very much appreciated your weaving of a comprehensive narrative to illustrate how Nature (in this case through Crow) communicates to us what is most worthy of our attention. I was especially taken by your humorous story of following the path of feathers to your car, which made me reflect on my experiences with feathers. I had a period of about one year where feathers were constantly appearing in my life. It seemed that every time I was outside, I observed feathers on the ground. I remember discussing this with you and you informed me that the shamanic path is also known as the way of the feather. I acted on this by pursing training in shamanism.

For the past year or so feathers had stopped showing up. That was until a recent vacation in Puerto Rico, where feathers again appeared in my life. Interestingly, invariably the feathers were aligned with the direction I was facing. This occurred on over a dozen occasions. I reflected on this and received information that this was an affirmation that I was on the correct path for spiritual development.

Love this. Crow has been a spirit/power animal of mine for a long time. Also fox--I was gifted with a family living under my den for 2 consecutive Springs, 2021 and 2022. I have a companion animal, a black cat, who literally appeared at our front door as a kitten in 2010 at our new home. He is my soulmate now, after the death of my human soulmate in 2014. I live in a rural area, on a busy-ish street but still I have an abundance of wildlife I am so grateful for. I recently found your Substack and I truly enjoy and am enriched by it. I have a wonderful soulful psychotherapist myself who I consider to a shaman in my life, and I look forward to reading more of your posts, thank you!
